La Pera Catering, La Dama Grazing Co. and El Camaron Taco Delivery are all part of a proudly diverse, culinary focused, hospitality company based in Austin, Texas. In 2017, founders Bethany DiBaggio and Rafael Rodriguez created Loteria Hospitality and envisioned a company that was committed to bringing about change in our community by sharing accessible, quality food + culinary education, creating opportunity for minority and underserved populations, and celebrating diversity through local products, Latin culture & cuisine to its fullest.

Our collective mission to create change through our work in food and the community extends both to our beloved customers, planners, vendors and to the larger Austin area that we love so much. Loteria Hospitality and all affiliated brands are non-discriminatory in whom they hire and serve on all grounds, including but not limited to race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, and politics.

The very definition of hospitality is described as, “the quality or disposition of receiving and treating guests and strangers in a warm, friendly and generous way.” So to be very clear, we do not favor or condone discriminatory comments or actions, legislation, media or persons, internally or externally, against any guest, employee, or group based on any of the above mentioned characteristics.

The lives of our BIPOC family, friends, vendors, planners and individuals in our communities matter to us.

We stand against racism & discrimination at all costs.

We also stand by and ask for you to hold us accountable on the following initiatives:

  • Loteria Hospitality and all of our concepts will include continued education, on a bi-yearly basis and in orientation pertaining to our strict anti-discrimination policies available for all staff joining our team in training.

  • Loteria Hospitality and all of our concepts recognize the magnitude of the systemic and institutional racism, historically and now, toward black people and black communities.

  • Loteria Hospitality and all of our concepts vow to audit our inner workings, from farmers to rental companies, chefs to contract delivery. We & they need to prioritize diversity, inclusion and equity or we need to direct our spending elsewhere.

  • Loteria Hospitality and all of our concepts must work as a team to create and promote a positive and inclusive company culture - where employees feel heard, safe, included, respected & equally challenged, regardless of their race or ethnicity.

  • Loteria Hospitality and all of our concepts must be willing to step it up. We are committed to uplifting and amplifying the voices of black and minority owned business. We support black and other historically marginalized communities by promoting equality, growth, training, economic opportunity, and a voice in our company as it continues to grow.
